Snak-Time to bring 40 jobs to Cherokee County

A West Virginia company received approval Thursday from the Cherokee County Council to locate a commercial sandwich production facility near Gaffney for distribution to food service vendors, creating 40 jobs. The company will operate under the name, Snack-Time foods, a subsidary of Tasty-Blend Foods, and will be located at 2215 Beech Street in Gaffney which was formerly occupied by Progressive Screen Engraving. Bobby Lyons of The Lyons Group LLC, based out of Spartanburg represented the seller in the successful sale of the property which closed on March 6, 2009.
