Successful Retail Land Auction

Bobby Lyons, CCIM and
president of The Lyons Group, LLC recently represented Bruster’ Ice Cream, Inc.
in the auction of a 0.7 acre retail land site located at 1005
Woodruff Road in Greenville,
SC.
There were 11 registered bidders at the auction and the two last bidders
were very aggressive in their efforts to own the property. When the hammer finally fell, the sales price
was $456,000. It sold to a Greenville, SC investor. The final sales price works out to over $650,000 per acre which is well above market value for Woodruff Road land in this area. This is just another example of the excellent results real estate auctions are capable of.
